I have come to this conclusion that you can never really know anybody that well. Anyone is capable of doing a 180 on you. You can never really know anyone that well. You might think you know them really well, but they could be fooling you. Not because they are mean or clever or anything, it’s just their personality and there is nothing you can do about it. Just be prepared to be disappointed and not surprised.

I know exactly what you mean. When it happens to me, I feel like a fool, like a complete idiot. So, I have come to the concluison that the only one I can be completely sure of, is myself. And yes, it is a lonely life.
Nyx, yes lonely or as I call it sad. I think it's a sad life that you feel like you really can't get that close to anyone. It's your fault if you do. I used to think friendship should even be more sacred than marriage. I mean I used to think there are things you can't even tell your wife, but I'm wrong on that too. There are things you should just keep to yourself. You can't trust anyone. That, I think is very sad.
